来自两大洲的使徒们在星期天奉献了三座圣殿，使这一天成为耶稣基督后期圣徒教会具有历史意义的一天。

这是该教堂首次在一天内举行三座寺庙的落成仪式。这三座寺庙分别是第180座、第181座和第182座寺庙。

使徒们说，圣殿代表耶稣基督、他的福音和聚集以色列。

据《教会新闻》报道，库克长老说:“圣殿是一种祝福和礼物，让我们为救主为我们所做的一切感到高兴。”

“我们应该多么感激生活在这个非凡的时代，在这个时代的圆满分配。据《教会新闻》(Church News)报道，贝德纳长老说:“我们有幸见证并参与正在实现的预言，即主的圣所将遍布地球。”

本顿维尔神庙的奉献仪式是贝德纳长老和他的妻子苏珊·贝德纳修女的一次回归。上世纪80年代和90年代，他们和三个儿子住在这个地区，当时贝德纳长老在阿肯色大学(University of Arkansas)担任企业管理学教授、研究生院副院长和管理决策实验室(management decision - decision Lab)主任，该实验室现在被称为山姆沃尔顿商学院(Sam Walton College of business)。

纳尔逊会长指派贝德纳长老参加2020年11月本顿维尔神庙的奠基仪式，主持6月启动公众开放日的神庙媒体日，并于周日为神庙揭幕。

贝德纳长老说，每一座新圣殿都是后期圣徒喜乐的泉源。

他说:“我们的主要焦点应该放在那些能改变我们内心、加深我们对救主忠心的圣约和教仪上，而不仅仅是在地点或建筑的美丽上。”

Brasília巴西神庙献礼

安徒生长老与巴西的关系也很密切，20年前他曾在巴西南部地区担任教会会长。他曾多次返回教堂执行任务。今年早些时候，他和凯西·安德森修女参观了Brasília神庙，并会见了巴西第一夫人罗斯· 恩格拉·卢拉·达席尔瓦。

始建于1956年的Brasília是巴西的首都。Brasília寺庙将是教会在该国的第十座寺庙，现在有近150万后期圣徒。巴西另有10座寺庙已经宣布或正在建设中。
